The Journey
When we become followers of Christ we begin a journey that is a life-long one. It is one that requires us to be constantly moving forward and experiencing all that life has to offer. Our commitment to God is reflected by our growing relationship with him.
If you're ready to get started on your Journey we recommend the following steps:
First, take an assessment of how you are doing in your spiritual journey with a brief survey. Results will be generated and we'll provide some suggested next steps and resources.
Based on your assessment, create a personal growth plan. You should continue to update your plan each time you complete your goals in an area.
God’s Role
To Empower You Through His Spirit
For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. Philippians 2:13
The Church’s Role
To Equip You For The Journey
Ephesians 4:12 tells us that God gave us pastors and teachers whose “responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church.”
Your Role
To Embrace Your Responsibility
“And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” Colossians 2:6-7
