Fall Groups Now Forming
Topical Classes, Bible Studies, Small Groups, and Support Groups are gearing up for the fall semester. Pick up a Groups Flyer on the displays in the hallways or visit the information booths in The Commons for more information. Registration for all groups available at www.findgrace.org
Group Connect Event - On August 28th after each service stop by WC101 and find out how you can get connected to a small group, short 15 minute meeting, your kids can be picked up in Son City immediately following the meeting. 

Facility Enhancements
In celebration of the 10th Anniversary of our Worship Center and to be good stewards of all that God has entrusted to us, we will be removing all of the worn and faded green carpet in the hallways and staining/finishing the concrete underneath.  The stained concrete will provide many benefits over the carpet for years to come.  The stained concrete will match the casual feel of GCC as well as provide years of easier maintenance and wear and tear just to name a few.  We will begin removing the carpet and staining the concrete August 1.  The updating of our hallways and entryway will be done in phases beginning with the front entryway.   We will also be centralizing our information booths, closing a few entry doors, making our library more accessible, and relocating our coffee bar and café to the foyer during this time as well. The church will be cleaned and ready to go each Saturday by noon.  There should be minimal interference with our Sunday Services. Signs will be posted on the campus if needed to redirect foot traffic away from affected areas. Kids Worship Team
The Kids’ Worship Team (KWT) is a dynamic, high energy group that helps to lead worship in the Son City Theatres.  Children and Teens from 1st through 12th grades are eligible to participate. There will be a mandatory orientation for everyone (parents and KWT volunteers) interested in participating during the 2011-2012 school year.

Healing From Infidelity Support Group
Have you been impacted by infidelity? This support group is for both individuals or couples: betrayed spouses and couples desiring to reconcile after an affair. Come learn and discuss infidelity topics in a safe and supportive environment.  This group will be facilitated by Deanna Sims, Ph.D., LPC and will meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 7pm to 8:30pm beginning August 16th.

School Supply Collection/Spirit Shirts
for Meadows Elementary 8/14 & 21
School supply collection for Meadows Elementary children. Items needed: Crayons, pencils, erasers, markers, rulers, glue sticks, school scissors, construction paper, manila paper, kleenex, baby wipes, dry erase markers. Collection bins will be located around the church.

We are also collecting funds to purchase Spirit T-Shirts for the kids at Meadows. If you would like to contribute, you can designate a $10 donation on your offering envelope by writing “Meadows Elementary”on the memo line with the amount. 

Stephen Minister Training
9/26 at 7pm. Stephen Ministers are highly trained lay ministers who provide confidential one-to-one Christian care to individuals experiencing difficulties in their lives. Training consists of weekly sessions on Monday nights with a Saturday session Jan 7th 9am-2pm. Cost for training materials is $50

Marriage Preparation Class Express!
Couples who are approaching marriage should come to this 4 week series covering the book, Saving Your Marriage Before it Starts. 9/11 at 2pm. $40 per couple.

Marriage Enhancement Class

Grace will be sending a team of 21 missionaries to Pietermaritzburg, South Africa July 10-20 to continue our work with our South Africa P.E.A.C.E. partners.  We need your help!  The team will be collecting gently used clothing in all sizes and small, “hand sized”, McDonald type toys until June 30 to take to our friends in South Africa.  Collection bins are located at the entry doors to the Worship Center.  You may also drop off donated  items at the main office during the week.  The team covets your prayers while we are away!  Thank you for helping make a difference in another part of the world!

Going through a time of transition, loss, or illness?  We have trained Stephen Ministers who can meet with you weekly and listen, encourage you and pray for you.  Fill out a Stephen Minister request card located in the pews.
