Women's Discipleship

Come join us in Women’s Discipleship to be a part of a community that is committed to learning how to follow Christ and to experience together the richness of all that God has given us in this eternal life.

What is a Women’s Discipleship Group?
In a discipleship group, we encourage and equip women to live a rich and full life, by focusing on developing them to Christ-like maturity through learning about the disciplines we can practice that help us stay in a close relationship with God. The majority of our studies will be focused on developing skills in these areas:
  • Spending time with God to develop a deep, personal, life-long relationship with Him
  • Learning how to study and apply His Word in our daily lives
  • Learning how to Pray in Faith and to worship God with our whole hearts
  • Understanding and experiencing God’s plan to be a part of the body through fellowship
  • Learning how to live a life that is a living testimony of God’s love and grace in addition to learning how to share the “Good News” when God gives us the opportunity
  • Learning to put our faith in action by loving God and our neighbors the way He desires
Who is in Discipleship Group?
Discipleship Groups are made up of 3 to 8 women, who have a strong desire to learn how to follow Christ as His disciple.

When do Discipleship Groups meet?
Discipleship groups meet about 2 hours, once a week. New groups are formed throughout the year based on the availability of leaders.

Where do Discipleship Groups meet?
Most discipleship groups meet in a leader’s or host’s home. We’ve discovered that the warmth and personal atmosphere of homes are more conducive to in-depth learning and building strong group relationships. A few groups meet at the church for convenience or for childcare.

How long will I stay in a Discipleship Group?
Discipleship groups are designed to be on-going. We have found real value in forming groups that can experience on-going spiritual growth together. We meet year round with short breaks around the holidays.
